Another excellent album by DALEK. This is real hip hop, dark, ambiant and intelligent. You got to have a try.

What kind of band name is Dalek? Someone's been watching too much Dr. Who... Exterminate!!

Rap for metal fans. Bland, weak, and drab. If anyone thinks that this artist has talent, I highly suggest doing more research, because there are far better rappers out there.

  1. Abandoned Language is film noir compared to the group's previous claustrophobic slapstick, and unfortunately that newfound seriousness isn't such a good thing.
  2. The album does what all great art does: guides its audience without giving them concrete answers (or even directions), forcing them to think for themselves instead of blindly following others, and eventually leading them, hopefully, to some kind of greater, albeit more complex, understanding of things.

[Dalek] have harnessed their noise fetish into a sound that's more sedate, but just as unnerving. [Apr 2007, p.194]
