South have ditched much of the electronic support of previous efforts and are showing just how skilled they are with their instruments, constructing a fine collage of up-tempo, hook laden rock-outs and more sedate, earnest songs. the wonderful thing about their detraction from electronic aid is that it has not killed the fullness of their sound. their ear for a good hook and melody is still very healthy. in all, a fine addition return by a band who have shown a willlingness to explore and be bold… Expand

The best tracks are You are one (my favorite and can't miss next single!), A place in displacement, Shallow, Pieces of a dream and Up close and personal. I think it's a shame that this band is not widely known. I just can't stop listening to Adventures. It's way better than the last Coldplay record.… Expand

    For anyone who caompares them with Doves, With The Tides is indeed a bit doves-like, but with much better songs on it. Really, this band is very underrated in whole europe, they deserve tons of airplay with such classic tunes. This is their second very good cd, not as good as With The Tides tough… Collapse
