  • Summary: This entertaining electronica-with-vocals debut by France's Marc Nguyen Tan (aka Colder) is informed by the last 25 years of electronic music, especially 70's and 80's artists such as Cabaret Voltaire and New Order.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 8 out of 12
  2. Negative: 0 out of 12
  1. Nguyen has created what will probably be one of 2003's best albums. 'Again' is a dark and sexy record that reveals itself seductively over time.
  2. 80
Colder's continuous atmosphere of experimentation, and his own off-kilter vocal delivery, keep you on the edge of your ledge. [Jun 2004, p.84]
  3. 80
A debut on par with the music of Massive Attack, Underworld or Kruder & Dorfmeister.
  4. Labeling Again as entirely derivative would be inaccurate, as Tan folds flourishes of dub and krautrock into a lascivious mix of after-hours cool.

Brilliant Album. Critics don't know what they are talking about. Has stood the test of time and simply gets better and better.
