Although not every song is essential in its own right, as a whole, All At Once congeals beautifully; in the era of the single, this is a real album, touching on themes of autonomy and control both in a personal and a wider political context.

There’s an artful use of simplicity here to the extent that these songs don’t sound simple at all- they are massive, moving, and multifaceted- but never are they bland. Rather, instead of punching note after note down our ears, Screaming Females make every pluck, every single thwap, single second, do something to advance the album. When every single element counts, the whole thing feels that much more important.

From the patient, rising tension and ecstatic release of the Black Sabbath-esque opening of ‘Glasshouse,’ right through to the heady-guitar-noodling-meets-full-throttle-pop-punk of closer, ‘Step Outside,’ Screaming Females manage to keep things, not just interesting, but wall-to-wall, grin-inducingly entertaining.

Even at it’s bleakest, All At Once is sheer rock’n’roll joy from start to finish.

There’s an ever-so-slight lack of the precariously raw noise that made Ugly so thrilling, but the crisp, imaginative songwriting redresses the balance.

All at Once is just as clever, impassioned, and purposeful as we've come to expect from this band, and it's a truly rewarding listen.

More sprawling and expansive than their previous record, All At Once still struggles to contain the myriad charms of this archetype power trio. [Mar-May 2018, p.59]

Marissa proves to the world that, once again, she's capable of outputting consistently strong vocals and lyricism. Explosively aggressive andMarissa proves to the world that, once again, she's capable of outputting consistently strong vocals and lyricism. Explosively aggressive and deeply compelling, "All At Once" is the group's strongest, most coherent, and most consistent album yet. Expand

In a world of possibilities, following the easy path may not be the best idea. Doing my personal part and being certain that the journey isIn a world of possibilities, following the easy path may not be the best idea. Doing my personal part and being certain that the journey is the path and the destination and the certainty that this is my intention to relate.

After the hiatus of three years after the release of Rose Mountain, a work with the incredible supporters, the punk rock trio from New Jersey, a little-known label, and following in the vibe at low level in the experimental, performing well on guitar and not bass as well as on the exotic vocals of Marissa Paternoster. It is not so difficult

In order to work a higher quality power in order to accomplish the task of issuing the best letters and the best amounts of data on the letters, are also more relevant. In an eternal journey on the wall, the trio often oscillates between a standard / formula somewhat in a seminar-less and at other times moments of clarity, doing something authentic and worthy of attention transforming something that could be a journey glorious in something troubled without so much brilliance. The arrangements are too static, lacking spontaneity. Making music is not just about technique but about the emotions in the form of sound and the trio of emergency in that part.

Have a little good performance and it's not so difficult but also something so memorable and this is a song that the disc loads. It is not a mediocre job but it is not a job that represents on my list of the best of the year. Screaming Females need to get more than an audience attention.
