Unbelieveable. Again rap has been reinvented - and NS is to thank for it. I am SO SICK and tired of the bling-hos-weed-40oz bullshit the record industry has been cramming down our throats. Kudos for Columbia for signing these wicked white muses. With "All City" they just mad the Rolling Stone "Top 50 albums of 2004" i.e. the other posters with 0 ratings are f**king idiots. Don't listen to them - listen to the critics - they have a unified voice. Northern State are for real and are the freshest thing to happen to rap since Eminem. Expand

  1. Perhaps All City’s most pleasing triumph, for fans of Northern State’s earlier stuff, is that the colloquial character of the Hesta and co.’s voices is in no way diluted by the more polished music accompanying it.
  2. With few female MCs truly representing these days, Northern State's "All City" is a breath of fresh air.
  3. The music on this feisty, funny rap album isn't new--just irresistible.
