i feel like this album is a divergence from Greg's original style. longer samples, little to no glitch. i wish he would have continued to use shorter samples and allowed the music to transform more. a little less creative in my opinion, Missy Elliot over rock... smells like 2manydjs just not as good of a mix...

All Day offers a departure of sorts from Night Ripper and Feed the Animals, his previous releases. The composition of those two essentially follow the same furious blueprint, whereas All Day allows the musical ideas a bit more time to breathe and evolve.

Gillis's vision becomes less orgiastic and more humanistic.

Those who weren't sold on Gillis' act before aren't going to change their minds, but his records are consistently great, and All Day is no exception.
