SethB.May 14, 2001310 years ago this record would have been fresh and cool, now it is so done-before and tired it is almost agony to listen to. I admit the only reason I listened to the whole disc is I like Janet's personality or at least the one we are to percieve as that. The record though, is a contrived insult to anyone of intelligence-which means the R&B, urban conteporary crowd will eat it up.

christiangOct 17, 20035it has its good moments, but in an overall, it is her worst record to date

MattMJun 21, 20037A good, solid effort from Miss Jackson. Often too intentionally sexual, but has enough standouts like the title track and "Somebody To Call My Lover." The song "Trust A Try" alone is worth the full price.

40All for You is, for the most part, signature Janet.
-
80She has rediscovered The Beat, giving us such funk-strewn gems as 'Trust A Try' and 'You Ain't Right'.
-
Like her awkward lyrical ventures into S&M and bisexuality on The Velvet Rope, songs like "Love Scene (Ooh Baby)" and "When We Oooo" aim for hot-and-heaviness but have the chilliness of her brother's famous televised kiss with Lisa Marie Presley.
