I absolutely loved this album, especially "Savin' me" and "Rockstar". it's brilliant!

This song is awesome!!! The message behind it is so true and everyone can relate. If you listen to this song once, it will be stuck in your head for days.

If this were an emo album, the critics would have given this album five stars. It's every bit as pop as Jimmy Eat World or Fall Our Plan or Get Up Theory or Juliana Plan or yes I know what their real names are thank you, and ten years after EMO dies too, they'll all be right there in the bargain bin with Nickelback and the other "grunnnge!" bands. I don't know why Nickelback are criticized so much. They are one of the best bands of the decade! This album is their best creation yet! They just get better and better with each release. We need music like this to defeat the bland cop-killing non-singing generation of hip-hop and rap. Throw away the guns, pick up this album, and be amazed.

I've only heard the singles, so normally I would not be qualified to give a rating of zero. Fortunately, those singles are some of the worst songs I've ever heard, and in the case of IF EVERYONE CARED, possibly the worst song ever written in the history/pre-history of mankind (I haven't heard some of the music developed by cavemen, but I'm confident that two rocks and guttural moaning is deeper than IF EVERYONE CARED). I don't give a rat's ass if the song has a 'good message'. Public service announcements have a good message, and they can do it in about 30 seconds without assaulting my eardrums. There is no excuse for making terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible music. perhaps the worst thing about this 'band' is that the singles from their first album were not bad. Leader of Men, Old Enough, Worthy to Say....nothing wrong with them. Then I guess Chad took a dump one day and accidentally left his talent in an outhouse in Alberta somewhere. Nickleback took a nosedive in musical quality so fast that I'm surprised they don't have collective whiplash. They became a lame, sappy ballad band over the course of like 5 years. This album, band, sound and production needs to be left behind very fast because I am afraid of losing good music forever. How can Nickelback be called alternative anything? Apparently Nickelback have taken the "Recycle" campaigns to heart, as every Nickelback song sounds (mostly) the same. They harmonize and junk the same way. Too bad its all boring and generic! If you want to be able to sing the songs to the band before you have fully heard the song, then this band is for you , everything is so predictable down to the melody. This is the most generic and cliche band ever, I can dream this will be the worst but I can only hope. If you actually happen to like this band you have extremely low expectations.

This album is, well.... awful. The main reason I listened to it - honestly - was so that I could make fun of it, and actually be informed when I say that I it's awful. There is nothing in this album that is original, interesting, or particularly good. It is all formulated to get maximum radio play, and apparently, they are succeeding in that area. One of the worst aspects of this album, though, is the lyrics. I could actually predict what the next line would be in many cases.
