Making a record that delivers satisfaction from start to finish is a rare and momentous thing. Making any record that sounds unlike anything else is a victory in itself. To bring the two in line as Yo La Tengo has done with And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out may as well be called perfection.

It's chilling, relaxing, and relatable, and more approachable than most YLT records. I think it has proven itself very worthy of all the critical attention and is easily one of the best albums of the 21st century.… Expand

These folks are as interesting a band as their is in America (the only thing I prefer is a dou called Rasa), and so it's been for the last 10-15 years.… Expand
