Feb 26, 201310This album is absolutely fantastic! I give this a 10 for the absolutely brilliant production and songwriting–flawless avant-pop! The highlights for me are the songs "Play by Play", "Gonna Die", "World War", and "A Lie"...buy this album ASAP!

Mar 1, 201310Flawless production, flawless vocals, catchy choruses, what more can you ask for? It's one of 2013 definitive records for sure. Highly recommended!!!!

Feb 26, 201310This is the sexiest, queerest, weirdest album I've ever heard! And it's danceable! It's overall amaaaazing! Everything about it! The only thing I would change is maybe less effects on the vox. JUST KIDDING.

Feb 28, 20130Worse than mediocre faux-80s pop punctuated by ear-splittingly shrill noises for no particular reason. What is the point of any of this? Neither the songwriting nor the production are impressive.
-
Feb 26, 20139A brilliant piece of work! It showcases Autre Ne Veut's impressive vocals and seductive lyrics to a fabulous extent. Backed by flawless production, this album is a sonic treat and sexily kaleidoscopic.

Feb 28, 20130What an irritating record. So much that it would be irritating to write a review about it. Typical indie overglorification of white boy mediocrity. Get it together, Pitchfork.

Apr 10, 20138An awesome pop album, his voice is amazing, and his lyrics feel genuine. The 20/20 Experience is getting all the attention that this deserves. One of the best RnB albums to come along in a while. Can't wait to hear what he does next.

Apr 2, 201370Many of the songs feel like they're improvised by someone with an encyclopedic knowledge of vocal pop music.
-
Mar 15, 201375Anxiety is the rare electro-pop album that's wholly synthetic, but plays without a hint of icy artificiality. [No. 96, p.53]

Mar 5, 201370This is an album of climaxes and cathartic streams of consciousness, but an album listenable from start to finish.
