I find it a rather enjoyable album. Good songs. Also doable for the adult audience - like me at 44. Try it out.

I was surprised that this album didn't fair well with critics. I guess that's why I don't put too much faith into them.

There are few cds more fun to listen to. While not too experimental, it really wasn't supposed to be. All the best parts from bands like Daft Punk (particularly Robot Rock), compiled to a live band that would be a cd anyone should enjoy.

There are a few decent tracks on here, but the annoying synth blasts and Daft Punk-esque repetition does nothing but piss me off. The electronic music scene is becoming tainted with artists who think they can just blast an electronic-guitar synth somewhere in a track and get acclaim. Music fans not familiar with recent electronic releases won't be as furious with this record as more experienced ones, that's to be expected. Oh, and that excerpt from the ever-so-horrible excuse for a magazine (aka Alternative Press) is one of the most ignorant things I've read this year. The Rapture sound nothing like this bit and their 2nd release (while not as amazing as Echoes) was acers better than this lot.

It may be brutally obvious, but it's brilliant - especially considering how wishy-washy the dance-rock crossover albums have been lately.

This album isn't all that bad, but it stays on a noise trail that gets very annoying. I also think these guys need to look at their production. This album is way too loud the whole way through.

It's a good first album. Listen to it and make up your own mind. This is a perfect teen party album... it's got hooks, it's got trashy electro punk riffs.. and yes it's totally influenced by all previous bands, (of course it is!!!) ; it's made by commercial hipsters for commercial hipsters and that's what makes this rock. Don't be a music snob! Just have fun with it.
