The biggest hitch is that Electric President seemingly achieve all of their humble goals by mid-album, and so spend almost half their time with pencils down, repeating the day's assignments silently to themselves.

Almost Cool

Arriving somewhere between the newer work of Styrofoam (on Morr) and The Postal Service, Electric President mainly dabbles in melancholy-tinged tracks with a couple bursts distributed through the album for good measure.

Not quite poppy and not quite moody, there's just not enough feeling in any direction to really make it stick.

A pretty impressive debut from Jacksonville, Florida. How it ended up on German electronic label Morr Music is a mystery to me but I'm glad someone found these guys and put their music out. There are several solid tracks on this album.

I thought this album was amazing... I can listen to all the tracks on it without skipping any of them, which for me is an achievement!

Electric President has a way of capturing you with their music. Once you are sucked into this world of interesting lyrics and exciting beats you can't escape.

This Album is a gentle cross between postal service and modest mouse. Two thumbs way up! For the past week it's acted like a remedy to all stress. Just can't stop listening to it. Good job...
