J C gave it a9:
Great album. Very refreshing-- out of the norm.
Dave gave it a9:
direct and immediate songwriting with instrumentation to match.
Hisi P. gave it a9:
She´s honest and simple and that touched me.
Jonah H gave it a9:
songwriting shines through the delicate swamp of down-tempo indie folk.
D gave it a 10:
This is her most complete record. All of the strengths honed on previous recordings are brought to the forefront here, featuring tasteful production (as opposed to the underproduced "You Think It's Like This But Really It's Like This" and the overwhelmingly layered "Advisory Committee") and beautiful performances. She cuts the bullshit on "C'mon Miracle" and shows that she is indeed an artist in her own right.
Dan B. gave it a 7:
It's not as good as her second disc, which was not as good as her first, but it's still pretty good. If you're a fan of hers you'll still like it. It grew on me quite a bit with repeated listens.
