Lost At Sea
Black Dialogue: a hip-hop classic? Maybe not, but pretty damn close.

The Onion (A.V. Club)
On the whole, Black Dialogue emerges as a triumph, an impassioned 12-track hip-hop manifesto even a mother could love, assuming of course, she hasn't affixed a Bush/Cheney sticker on the bumper of the family station wagon.

Black Dialogue has finally captured the Perceptionists' on-stage charisma and fraternity. [Apr 2005, p.103]

All Music Guide
Lif and Akrobatik have a long history, so they sound natural as brainy verse-swapping partners, and they're sharp throughout, whether they have their sights set on the Bush Administration or are simply batting boasts back and forth.

Steven S gave it a6: Disappointing to say the least, I liked a couple of tracks, but the majority wasn't that good really. I loved the track black dialogue but I just don't feel tracks like 'Party Hard' and 'What Have We to Lose'. I've heard way better from Def Jux
Greg H gave it a10: Soon to be considered classic. I get goose bumps everytime I hear "memorial day." You must hear this album.
Kam gave it a10: jules o is an idiot. this album is probably my fav ever def jux release. an awesome album.
jules o gave it a3: Worst Def Jux release yet. Mr. Lif needs to get away from this cat.
L L gave it a10: These guys r genuine
Chris R gave it a10: easily the best hip-hop album of the year and the best def jux has released of the last three years.
