Entertainment Weekly

If it's lowest-common-demon heavy rawk you crave, Life awaits. [28 Nov 2003, p.125]

E! Online

Fails to whip up much excitement.

All Music Guide

They skated by the first time through, due to a couple of fluke catchy songs, but they have no hooks or full-fledged songs this time around, and suffer dramatically because of it.

Blender

Without the blue-eyed soul conviction of the original, it's enough to make even second-tier grunge has-beens like Seven Mary Three seem like innovators. [Dec 2003, p.145]

40

Q Magazine

They cook up an almighty storm, but as winds go, it's rather hollow. [Feb 2004, p.105]

25

Spin

These hammerheads still sound like the touring company of Grunge-a-Mania. [Jan 2004, p.100]

20

Rolling Stone

Third-rate grunge retreads stuffed with overdriven guitars and generic rock-dude melancholia.

George C. gave it a0:
Cradle of Crap.

Jake A gave it a5:
I thought this album was just average. It wasn’t a total pile of crap, nor was it some major label or MTV marketing agenda as some of the music elitists will proclaim. Either way I was disappointed with it, I didn’t enjoy it not nearly as much as I enjoyed their first album.

Robbie C gave it a0:
Absolute crap.

Ibgik gave it a1:
Ah, Puddle of Mudd, - note the 2 D's... misspelling is RAWK! - you constantly play to the absolute lowest expectation. Somehow, you've been allowed to make not one, but TWO major label records. Even my girlfriend, who has from time to time enjoyed a Nickelback song noted amazement that off-key, no talent stuff like this was signed to a major record deal. Sad.

Reece Reece gave it a10:
I like this album its one of my fav's dont see why you thinks its rubbish i fucking enjoyed it

Stephen U gave it a0:
While this most certainly deserves a 0 artistically, I do applaud Puddle of Mudd for continuing to pull down major label schlock rock into the muck and allowing labels who foster artistic expression that goes beyond pathetic teen angst being mewled by a 30 year old to flourish. And thanks to metacritic for allowing me to write ridiculously long sentences.

Brennan B gave it an8:
Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought this album was great. Spin You Around is a suprisingly beautiful song I thought. The other songs are all solid too. From what I see though, I'm the only one who thinks this way.
