This is Pure Guava performed with the precision and cleanliness of White Pepper -- perhaps a mixed blessing for some (those who long for the Scotchguard-fueled madness of The Pod), yet it's a sheer delight for those who patiently sat through the longest period between Ween albums yet.

I don't think anyone who already has some notion of wanting quebec could possibly be disappointed-- it's the genre-defying psych of The Mollusk and the incongruous irreverence of 12 Golden Country Greats, and some of the madness that is GodWeenSatan, and it's a lot better than the go-nowhere White Pepper.

Ween.. All ween deserves nothing less than 10! Especially Quebec.. These guys are the most musically talented humans on earth. If anyone rates them below 10 then they clearly don't know music. These guys could make any genre of music and they prove that with this album! They don't make what sells.. They make what rocks!! Screw Rolling Stone!! Screw MTV!! Screw people that let magazines tell them what to listen to

The best record of the decade thus far. This is coming from someone who has close to 700 cd's. In my opinion, it should be compared to OK Computer, Dark Side of the moon and Sgt. Peppers as a true classic. Unfortunately that will never happen.

What I love about Ween is that they don't give a fuck about what any critics say. Ween has its followers, they don't need critical acclaim to feel good about themselves, and I for one am all about that.
