Los Angeles Times
Wilson delivers a knockout as she serves up enough of the rowdy tunes to keep the jukebox pumping most of the night — most powered by a lively mix of ringing guitars, spunky fiddles and powerful backbeat. [25 Sep 2005]
Entertainment Weekly
Sticks to the debut's ballads-plus-bar-anthems blueprint while revealing a broader range. [30 Sep 2005, p.91]
Billboard
Beyond the bombast, Wilson has personality and soul to burn, and her impact on country music is going to be felt for many albums to come, starting here. [1 Oct 2005]
Stylus Magazine
At this point, Wilson looks like the most important new artist to hit country music since the Dixie Chicks.

It's fed-up and proud at the same time, a kind of Desperate Housewives meets Trailer Fabulous. [Oct 2005, p.144]
All Music Guide
While Wilson's always refreshingly brash as a vocalist, the arrangements are only satisfactory.

She's not as aggressive and unguarded as she was on her debut. Yet even toned down, her persona has the spunk that country needs.
PopMatters
Unfortunately, All Jacked Up is everything you might expect from a hurried follow-up to a record setting debut. Shunning ambition, it aims for consolidation.

Yeah, Jacked contains a few shadowy rewrites of Here for the Party tunes, but the players this time are more in sync with the star--the music is louder, beerier.

What passed for refreshing last year is merely rote here. [Dec 2005, p.105]
Paste Magazine
Half the album [is] mired in embarrassing heartland cliches. [Feb/Mar 2006, p.96]
Rolling Stone
A mediocre follow-up with nothing as great as "Redneck Woman" or "Here for the Party."

What All Jacked Up ultimately confirms... is that Wilson is a one-trick pony whose trick will only impress those with exceedingly low expectations.

Patrick D gave it a6:
I loved "Here for the Party" despite 8 songs, but this was pretty much the same all through. I like #1 and #12. The rest mostly sound funny or the same. And "All Jacked Up" sounds like "Redneck Woman" at parts, but it's still good.
Sarah J gave it a0:
This album is by far worse than her first one and should have an R rating on it.
Priscilla N gave it a10:
She rocks
Sandra S gave it a9:
Gretchen Wilson's voice is a refreshing reminder of Country Music greats of the past, like Loretta Patsey. This album is a mix of classic styled country and bar room tounge & cheek ditties. It proves that Gretchen has a versatile ability that can bridge honkey tonk and traditional country styles with both style and ease. I see her going places for a long, long time. I only wish I had signed her.
Cynthia B gave it a10:
I love it , and the one before I bought both and I can sing like Gretchen I admire her
JOE K gave it a10:
My vote - 10 Her music, just like her, is "for real !!!"
Dana gave it a10:
Not as great as her first cd, but it''s Gretchen so I can't not give her a 10. She's not Martina, she's not Reba, she's not Shania-all-the-songs-sound-the-same. She's her own person. If people could get beyond the redneck/right wing/hard core/drinking stuff they would find a truely great artist who is ahead of her time.
