    Cloud Nothing's "Attack On Memory" is a breathe of fresh air. They have a unique style and each track really shows that. sort of a nostalgia 90's guitar rock album

    Just one of the best indie albums of 2012, and also one of the best I've ever heard. The semi-improvised tracks are just awesome. This album has a soul, deep into post-hardcore (sometimes almost emo), and I love it.

    One of the most important things in music for me is, that the singer can sing good. Dylan Baldi can't sing good. However, the aura of this album is really appealing and also they don't contain much words, the songs are very well written. The band is talented in making music but I think this album is heavily overrated, nevertheless, because it's far away from being a masterpiece.     I picked this album up not knowing what to expect. I was surprised how awesome this album is. It has tons of energy and all the songs are catchy. I would most definitely give it a listen and consider it one of the best albums of 2012.

    Perhaps what I love most about this fantastic rock record is the fact that its eight tracks are incredibly easy to become familiar with. Truly shining in this glorious lo-fi jungle of sounds are Dylan Baldi's vocals, which have a natural edge that pierces and gurgles more appropriately than any vocalist in recent years. His edgy sass on previous records has evolved into a full-blownPerhaps what I love most about this fantastic rock record is the fact that its eight tracks are incredibly easy to become familiar with.     Cloud Nothings have managed to create a beautifully authentic record, mixing sounds from alternative rock to punk and everything into between into one thrilling and creative experience.

    The newest release is a widespread band effort, and as a result a much more unified, redeeming ride, similar to The Strokes

    Seems like they are trying to revive the punk sound of the Ramones or the Sex Pistols or even Nirvana with none of the urgency exhibited by those bands.

    First two tracks (No future, no past and Wasted Days) are excellent, and the rest of the songs that follow after are enjoyable as well, but not nearly as strong as what composes the first third.

    The first song on this album blew me away. Then I heard the second track and was even more impressed. Fortunately the album doesn't falter much at all after that. These guys have some kind of energy and you can tell on every track. I heard the frontman is basically a teenager but I actually related pretty well to the lyrics.     God I love loud abrasive guitar rock and this is an album full of it.My personal favorite is "Wasted Days" about 9 minutes of pure noisy bliss.It is said they chose this direction so as to be able to improvise during their live shows, good decision boys.

    Attack On Memory is sort of a nostalgia 90's guitar rock album, that brings to mind last year's excellent "Yuck" by Yuck and vocals that sound like Silverchair's lead singer Daniel Johns.

    Not breaking any new ground here, but this band is alive. They put all their effort into these songs and it shows. Guitar rock isn't dead yet; Cloud Nothings beat every once of rock they can out of their instruments and the end result is a great soundtrack to the stressful vibrancy of 2012.
