This has to be one of Moby's greatest releases since his old albums, Early Underground and the self titled "Moby". I highly recommend this to everyone.

Complete crap. Boring and unimaginative. Benign and impotent. Old school but completely without even a slightest descent twist.

  1. The fact is, Moby is still the best person to make records that sound like early Moby.

As self-indulgent side projects go, this could be a whole lot worse. [Apr 2004, p.139]

Baby Monkey has nothing of the danger, adventure or indeed chemical frisson that defined rave culture--it's just smug sonic wallpaper. [Mar 2004, p.113]
