A dozen songs of unremitting blandness by a man with absolutely nothing left to say. [Oct 2005, p.96]

Back Home embodies the featureless, sickeningly pleasant sounds piped unmercifully into department-store elevators. [Oct/Nov 2005, p.121]

Des bonnes compositions comme So tired, Say what you will, Revolution et des chansons plus douces comme Run home to me ou Back home.

I would say Eric Clapton is my all time favourite artist, and definately my favourite blues musician along with John Lee Hooker, however, I I would say Eric Clapton is my all time favourite artist, and definately my favourite blues musician along with John Lee Hooker, however, I feel his new material on this album feeds too much from his domestic life. His previous work proves he has opinions. Maybe he's just running dry on things to say these days. Oh well. The guitar playing is still sharp, though. The only song I felt that stood out was "piece of my heart". It is the only song I will remember from this album in a years time. CLAPTON IS GOD *wee dog* Full Review »
