  1. Even if it won't hit you on the first listen, Bazooka Tooth remains a strong outing from one of underground hip-hop's most talented, thanks to its unprecedented wealth of lyrical depth and truly individual production style.
  2. It helps to enjoy Aesop's oscillating growl simply as an instrument, considering it may take months before his endless, seemingly im-parse-able, might-be metaphors start making sense.
  3. Regardless of his less than subtle studio technique, Bravitz remains one of the most resourceful and bracing artists in his field.

A great album, but i miss blockhead, who is only producing for three tracks on this album and who is a staple on other aes albums like float, labor days, and fast cars. buy it but buy other releases as well. Full Review »

"Bazooka Tooth" is a solid album, but in the shadow of its predecessor, "Labor Days," it leaves something to be desired. Some of the sampling is a little too dense and busy, but its all worth it to hear 11:35. Ace Rock is still a master poet. Full Review »
