    This is an album that sounds invigoratingly abrasive when you're moving and pins you to your seat when you're not, a study in pushing the limits of distortion that works as just plain good club music.

    It's a highly enjoyable, synthetic, dark, and nearly purely techno experience. Standouts like "Chrysalis Records", show Egyptrixx's ability with manipulating his sound into his specific (and rather dark) desires. The true charm lays in the richness of electronic sounds, fading, warping, twisting melodies and beats into something that evolves and keeps interest. I'd consider it a step above Redshape's "The Dance Paradox" [2009] in albums that share an eerily sinister tone through beat-driven techno.… Expand

    Having never heard of Egyptrixx before I was purely drawn to it by its high Metascore and name.
    after listening to it I found that it was rat    her enjoyable. some of the tracks are fairly monotonous and there is a lack in melody, such as the track 'Phones' however there are some real gems.
    enjoyable, but i wouldn't buy it.    … Collapse
