regardless what people say this a pretty solid release. a great selection of tracks on here with great production. many critics dont rate albums high unless they like them and consider them art. this one is a true classic.

Disappointing to say the least, I liked a couple of tracks, but the majority wasn't that good really. I loved the track black dialogue but I just don't feel tracks like 'Party Hard' and 'What Have We to Lose'. I've heard way better from Def Jux

Soon to be considered classic. I get goose bumps everytime I hear "memorial day." You must hear this album.

  1. Lif and Akrobatik have a long history, so they sound natural as brainy verse-swapping partners, and they're sharp throughout, whether they have their sights set on the Bush Administration or are simply batting boasts back and forth.
  2. Greater than the sum of its parts.

There are enough thrilling moments on Black Dialogue to justify the collaboration. [Apr 2005, p.123]
