for me this is easily one of the greatest albums ever recorded, if you can get your head around the dual vocals of Hugh McElroy and Daniel Martin-McCormick then you have an absolute beaut of an album, it's not an easy one to describe art post noise punk ??? Give it a try you'll probably hate it, I don't I bloody love it

  1. With these production qualities, the band is just comfortably abrasive, snagging against the mix of bent-string guitars and strange, trebly percussive clamor.

Black Eyes gives barely a hint as to what this band achieves onstage. [#59, p.84]
  3. This album will have to remain the a mark of a band's crazy potential and perhaps a warning siren of what is to come.
