His intimate voice strikes enough of a balance with the chilly electronics to keep the core of this winter release at room temperature.

A string of songs offering glitchy low-beat techno, classical and ambient styles, Blue Film offers a great deal to those expecting something different in their musical diet.

Ultimately, Blue Film is a decent, enjoyable album that hints at Hemerlein’s undoubted talent whilst never pulling up too many trees.

With a few forgettable songs and seemingly overcrowded moments, Lo-Fang's debut falls short--acting as more of a promise of what's to come, rather than a thrilling introduction.

I think as far as a debut goes, Lo-Fang does a great job in producing a different sound than most artists and he even plays over 7 instruments throughout the album himself. Very well done album with a few flaws but nonetheless a great debut. Expand
