Reptar have pieced emotions together, both euphoric and heartbreaking, to create a debut that, although perhaps too varied in places, is a great starting point for the quartet.

Although Body Faucet is a bit inconsistent (perhaps because of its length – it clocks in at over an hour of material, but feels like more), the record is a brave and fairly fantastic debut that will surely grab the attention of those who give it a chance.

Despite attempts at lyrical heft detailing a too-vague sexual awakening ("Sebastian") and an encomium for a friend ("Ghost Bike"), Ulicny undermines himself on a second-by-second basis by finding no lyric that can't be subjected to at least six different forms of contortion regardless of its content.
