DanHMay 6, 20069Better than I expected! Let me just say if you are a Wilco/Phish/retro rock fan, you will like this album, which goes between pop and fun, quirky rock. Plus, it will increase your vocabulary.

SamWMar 21, 20068"the ruling class" when played by jeff tweedy sans loose fur is remeniscent of a young bob dylan humoring audiences with songs like "talkin' world war III blues".

DonMApr 16, 20068A really solid bunch of songs. This album rips all over 'a ghost is born', and is easily equal to the bands original release. Excellent arrangements, nicely played, and always intersting!

80A modest but consistently satisfying affair, rich in music and message.

It's more coherent [than its predecessor] by a mile. It's longer, and its group songwriting blends better. [20 Mar 2006]

Born Again in the USA is playful, proggy, and built for black lights.
