    Only 62 from the critics? Really? It's a shame. I mean, Summertime Sadness, Born To Die, Video Games, Blue Jeans and of course Dark Paradise...This album represents Alternative music in the 2010s. She's like the Queen of Alternative and indie pop and this album proves that.

    Almost perfect album. The highs are some of the most haunting yet captivating pop tracks of the decade. Memorable and for someone growing up with Born to Die - surely capable of making memories, something the album longs for via nostalgia.

    It's just so sad how critics can be so mean, after her performance in SNL, this is one of the wronged scores of all times! This album simply defined the decade and influenced most of the young artists we have today.

    Her best album in my opinion. Her voice paired with her lyrics and the violins and hip-hop beats are so different than what we hear today. It is a perfect album. Every single song is perfectly written. Each song is poetry. She really knows how to convey emotion in her singing. This was a perfect album.

    Lana Del Rey is an artist. Her debut album 'Born to Die' is definitely one of the best musical projects I have ever listened to. The cohesiveness of the album combined with the soft vocals and strong messages portrayed on each track make for an excellently told tragic love story.     This album has some songs that I skip, like Million Dollar Man, but the highs are so high and what it's offering can't be found anywhere else. That makes it a 10 for me. It's a really enjoyable sound and vibe with some great vocals and lyrics

    Can you imagine the world without Lana del Rey's "Born to Die"? She literaly created a aesthetic and a trend in the alternative scene while the whole music industry was worn out from the same songs of different artists. This was the beggining of every indie, alternative trend and she still impacts a lot of artists with her lyrics, melody and aesthetic.

    There is a distinct relevance which this album has. Video Games is one of the most iconic songs of the 2010s, and I absolutely love this album. BTD + Paradise is just phenomenal, it has so many good hits and overall it's just so iconic and well known, well sung and well thought.

    Despite what critics may say about this album, it's one of my all-time favourites. She makes painfully beautiful music and I loved this album from the first second. Reminds me of being down in Italy enjoying the sunset and warm breeze while gazing over rolling hills and vineyards.

The non-singles are amazing too, most of them paints this relationship with an old man/drug addict/millionaire/gangster/etc. but in the most frantic, wild, fun and romantic way. You can feel the attractiveness of this dangerous life only this partner can provide.
    10 years later, many people keep discovering and being fascinated by this album because it aged just like wine. Lana Del Rey really changed the pop culture and transformed a lot of more alternative things into mainstream. The legacy of this album will be forever written in the history of music, and how paved the way for many famous artists today like Lorde, Melanie Martinez, Halsey, Billie Eilish, etc.
