MusicMavenOct 21, 20058Bright Like Neon Love is an album of 80's-like synth-pop. The songs are not very deep, but they are supremely catchy and fun. Cut Copy is definitely worth checking out if you like the Human League, Pet Shop Boys, or Postal Service.

JoelJMay 10, 20058I bought the "Future" CD single a very long time ago. I'm so happy to see this getting an international release. We've enjoyed this band for a long time in Australia, and they deserve everything they get. The more of this music around the better, I say!

smithsgirlJun 11, 20069What a great album! Sheer fun, and guaranteed to lift your spirits. Cut Copy share the same record label as The Avalanches whose Since I Left You album, is (probably) the best album ever. Whcih is why I only give this a 9. Bright Like Neon Love is sun soaked pop genius, shimmering, infectious, and totally addictive. Try it out!

GillianM.Jun 6, 200710CUT COPY are amazing. Their sound is fresh and belongs to Melbourne (where it comes from). Love it. Can't wait for the new album due this year (2007).

JohannK.Mar 10, 200810I can't believe I'm discovering this album now (2008), it's an amazing album, it's like a fresh cocktail of something old like the 90's and something futuristic that you can't quite see but with that cocktail in my hand I dance on without any worries of what's to come!

NickGNov 25, 200610This is one of my favorite cd's of all time. Cut Copy cross the boundaries between electronica, dance, and rock without taking themselves too seriously. Their catchy hooks and dreamy backgrounds make it so easy to get into, and their unique approach to music makes you come back to listen again.

Jun 20, 20118The combination of 80's synth and dance with an obvious pop/rock influence is something fresh and makes for a great listen. It serves as a belter for the dance floor but also if you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy.

75Sounds sort of like a cross between a more mainstream New Order and Daft Punk.

What separates Cut Copy from the retro-electro-pop pack is the mixing prowess of French house maestro Philippe Zdar. [Oct 2004, p.146]

Bright Like Neon Love feels like the record The Human League could have made if they'd remade Fleetwood Mac's Rumours in 1985. It's like the soundtrack to the best party you've never been too, but always wish you had.
