I've always loved Cee-Lo's work, but this demonstrates more of his inside life experience and funk mixed with everything. Beautiful

Cee-Lo, next to Outkast, is the most creative force in hip-hop.

A very good combo of hip-hop and neo-soul. I love "the art of noise" and "die trying." I can't believe "evening news" is a Dj Premier track.

Bottom Line, Where we are in hip hop today it is refreshing to here an artist with this much creativity. Lyrically he is unmatched, and unfortunately I think he is to much for the mainstream to absorb. He deserves an 11.

Album's like these show that there is still hope in hiphop, when artists can entertain and educate. Cee-lo's an artist that can make you move but most importantly, can make you think....and after listening, makes you pick up a pen..

Contains many soulful, felling music that touches you in every way. This album is the best he's made yet since the Goodie Mob's "Soul Food" Album. Cee-Lo shows that he can still sing and rap like before. This is a very inspiring album. You will think twice about Cee-Lo!!!

  1. There are chakra-smacking pleasures here that could only have come from an artist of Cee-Lo's expansiveness.
  2. Half God's gift to hip-hop, half man of the people, he never quite puts all his good tracks together or across.
  3. Once again Cee-Lo has recorded a peerless album, except this time he's recorded one that should connect, or at least deserves to.
