  1. This is pop music pushing the boundaries of what pop music should be, without having to resort to overproduced and mass-marketed gloss.
  2. For anyone who loved Emergency and I, or any of the Dismemberment Plan's other two records, Change sounds like The Dismemberment Plan on Quaaludes.
  3. Change, while unquestionably more mature than anything the Dismemberment Plan have released in the past, is also, at times, an incredibly powerful record that can make mundane ruminations seem like Socratic philosophy.
