    This album was an absolute letdown. I was hoping, maybe even expecting that an album this well reviewed would be well written, more conceptual, keener, more true to reality, etc. but sadly, it was none of the above. This album, with the exception of a handful of the tracks, were absolute trash.

    The Alchemist is the perfect producer for today's rap. He knows how to work around every drag and flaw of the rapper's with which he works. He has just enough variation that you really wouldn't notice the difference in the songs if you heard them at separate times on the radio. When he works with artists like Eminem, something seems to work, but with the lesser known, less The Alchemist is the perfect producer for today's rap.     It may be that the only constant on Chemical Warfare IS Alchemist's beats, but that's enough to make it work--and like the futuristic battle it implies the album is filled with hits you'll never see coming.
