I honestly think it's nearly flawless. An excellent EP, erhaps one of the best, I've heard rivaling Of Montreal's Icons, Abstract Thee. Full of pop-synth power, yet a tangible humanness, it provides a great listen. Nicely layered with several sounds that never appear to be too overbearing.

  1. The debut release from Boston’s Passion Pit is a warm and inviting collection of electro-pop that calls to mind popular acts like Postal Service while still blazing its own path.
  2. Despite Chunk of Change's flaws, Angelakos shows real promise as an innovative electronic-song weaver.
  3. This tantalizingly brief EP will please fans if The Blow, MGMT, and Hot Chip. [Fall 2008, p.88]
