  1. Positive: 2 out of 6
  2. Negative: 1 out of 6
  1. Nov 18, 2010
In spite of the album's flaws, the duo has assembled a great collection of sounds that immediately identify Codename: Rondo as a Ghostland product.
  2. Nov 18, 2010
Dig those snippets and Codename: Rondo just might be this weekend's soundtrack.
  3. Nov 18, 2010
"Kick Clap Speaker" is the richest, fullest-sounding track out of 10. Ghostland Observatory should make a whole album as gripping. First, they'll have to realize that a beat isn't always enough.
  4. 50
Codename: Rondo showcases a softer sounding group and it's one that sounds neither confident, nor too amusing.
  5. Nov 18, 2010
If Ghostland Observatory's serious about more than modern raves, the locals need to bring in an outside producer (Austin's Wolfgang Gartner?) to help construct something fresh. Otherwise, the party's just about over.
  6. Nov 18, 2010
Codename: Rondo sounds like two people doing the least amount of work possible before something can be considered a "song."
