    Gorgeous and intimate, the 14 songs on her debut disc ache with romantic maturity and a smart, slow-jam sexiness that belies the fact that, at 22, Jones is hardly older than Britney.

    Not bad but severely overrated. Safer than milk, i.e. TOO safe, no back-bone, no risks, virtually no excitement. She has a beautiful voice, but a fine instrument doesn't mean much when it's stuck playing Muzak. The first song is pleasant, but you may have trouble staying awake past the halfway point, unless you're the type who treats music like background noise, in which case this should do fine. There's nothing wrong with soft pop, but if this is supposed the 'best' that's out there, then the public's either too desperate or need to challenge themselves a wee bit more.… Expand
