Gorgeous and intimate, the 14 songs on her debut disc ache with romantic maturity and a smart, slow-jam sexiness that belies the fact that, at 22, Jones is hardly older than Britney.
  2. Her voice is supple and precise, her touch on piano lovely.
  3. A showcase for Jones' remarkable voice, the disc captures a singer whose rare instinct for interpretation always serves the song, rather than working against it.
  4. She has created a complete, original style that straddles multiple musical genres.
  5. Inevitably, it all starts to grow a little samey.
  6. She sings in an earthy growl that can send chills, or a conspiratorial whisper that suggests she's sharing sworn secrets, or a weary sigh that exudes the kind of quiet, easygoing intimacy that doesn't come around in songs too much anymore.
  7. There's a seductive quality to the simple yet sophisticated and intimate ambience Jones creates with this music.

Quite Possibly the best album that was released in the decade that was 2000-09. Not one track on the cd isn't a pleasure to listen to. Norah's voice accompanied by the piano is a thing of beauty. She brings so much to every song by only making slight changes to her tone of voice throughout the albums 45:03 run-time. Expand

Come Away With Me, is, simply put, a beautiful album. It showcases a sympathy of sounds so harmonic, you are slowly soothed into a daze.
