The resulting Curve more or less lives up to its ballpark idiom, and while it may not signal a complete reinvention, it definitely distances itself from the calculated guitar-driven alt-rock that dominated 2009's Burn Burn.

This album is proof that today's incarnation isn't exactly sure about where they will be tomorrow in spite of having a firm grasp on where they were yesterday.

Curve finds the band rehashing other artists' creative moments in the sun but never making anything their own.

Really do not like this album. OLP is my favorite band but this and Burn Burn are depressingly bad for me. I can't relate to the music at all like their older material. The songs seem to take no risks. The whole thing is just boring. Been waiting for years for OLP to get back to the quality they once had. I will have to wait for the next album because sadly, this one is no good. Expand
