    It was with great trepidation that I approached ths cd after reading numerous reviews slagging it but, surprise, it's a great cd. Beyonce shows off her flair for stylish ballads such as 'Be with you', 'Yes', and 'Speechless', the latter with it's grand vocal finale. Of course the brilliant summery 'Crazy in love', 'That's what It was with great trepidation that I approached ths cd after reading numerous reviews slagging it but, surprise, it's a great cd. Beyonce shows off her flair for stylish ballads such as 'Be with you', 'Yes', and 'Speechless', the latter with it's grand vocal finale. Of course the brilliant summery 'Crazy in love', 'That's what you like', 'Naughty girl', etc are also stand outs. She took a turn totally unexpected by the public who, I think, were expecting lots of uptempo cuts. Fab cd whose brilliance time will reveal.… Expand

    Beyonce is the business and so is her CD. With her beauty, voice, and overall style she is simply untoppable. Many hate on her, but her can replace her? She has too much to offer and not many artists can bring that much to the table. Not to mention her talent is versatile, so she easily able to appeal to almost any audience.

    Very rarely will I pop in a new CD, listen to it all the way through, AND love all the songs. This debut Cd from Beyonce moves me. I could not disagree more with the critics who give negative reviews. Not only her voice gives the record it's appeal, but the songs to me are unique, there is not a somg out there that sounds like this CD at this time.     None of beyonces albums have much depth to them but this one seems to be the most complete. Hits like "Baby Boy" "Naughty Girl" and "Crazy In Love" make a solid opening to the mediocre rest of the album. Overall not bad but still teases us into more as Beyonce often does with her albums. Best she has to offer in her discography.

    Dangerously in Love is the album that showed the world that she doesn't need Kelly and Michelle. She proved with Dangerously in Love that she can release timeless songs (Crazy in Love and Baby Boy). And the 5 Grammys she won for the album are just another proof that the album is flaw-free.

Although it isn't her best work to date, there are some amazing songs like sensual "Baby Boy" and "Naughty Girl", beautiful "Me, Myself And I" and "Dangerously In Love 2", and of course "CRAZY IN LOVE" which absolutely slays songs like idiotic Jay Z duet "That's How You Like It", boring "Hip Hop Star" and irritating, funky song called "Work"Dangerously In Love" is Beyonce's debut album. Although it isn't her best work to date, there are some amazing songs like sensual "Baby Boy" and "Naughty Girl", beautiful "Me, Myself And I" and "Dangerously In Love 2", and of course "CRAZY IN LOVE" which absolutely slays songs like idiotic Jay Z duet "That's How You Like It", boring "Hip Hop Star" and irritating, funky song called "Work It Out". The other tracks are sentimental milquetoast ballads like "Yes", "Sings" and "Gift From Virgo" and moody R&B "The Closer I Get To You" and another me-and-my-future-husband duet "03' Bonnie & Clyde". "Dangerously In Love" is Beyonce's most casual album. It isn't as fun as "B'Day", as vulnerable as "I Am... Sasha Fierce" and as breathtaking as "4". But having "Crazy In Love", "Naughty Girl" and "Baby Boy" one album is an automatic win!

    Well done Beyonce! A fabulous album! All the songs were great with the exception of Bonnie And Clyde '03 - it's a very boring song. She teams up with some of the biggest names in rap and hip hop which makes it twice as good

    Her voice is soothing and sexy! It's easy to relate to her songs and she is awesome as a solo artist! I recommend her album to anyone that enjoys real music from the heart.

    This is one of the best R&B albums ever. I'm not saying this because I am Ms. Knowles biggest fan, but because she is an exceptional writer, singer, actress, and producer.     Beyoce's writing and producing skills do shine on this project. The soulful ballads and midtempo tracks struck me as the strongest. I must admit baby boy was my favorite track for a few weeks, although it lacked subtance.     i LOVE Dangerously in Love! there's not a single song on the album that i don't like. Beyonce definately displayed her unmatchable talents on this disc. She should be crowned the Princess of R & B, under the Queen -- Ms. Mary J. Blige.

    Absolutely the best of her talent, all of the album. B-stands for the best, keep it coming girl. Let Jerk taint your song writing, acting singing, dancing, etc. abilities. Obviously you haven't. The main ones hating are the main ones buying your music and seeing your movies.

    One of Beyonce's best work yet. It was the perfect introduction to the solo Beyonce. It has solidified her as the superstar we know today. Packed with dance hits and emotional love ballads, you won't be bored. Favorite tracks: Baby Boy, Crazy In Love, Dangerously In Love, That's How You Like It, and Naughty Girl.

It seems as if Beyonce was just recording every song that sounded good to her, hoping that it would sound good to others as well (which it does), but it left out the honesty that should be found in music especially with vocal talent like hers. The best thing about Dangerously In Love is its magnificent ability to show the R&B spectrum while pushing further the fusion between R&B and other genre. The eternal classic "Crazy In Love" (funk) and party-ready "Baby Boy" (dancehall) are perfectDangerously In Love is Beyoncé first solo album. While not her best album it's an instant R&B classic and a very cohesive body of work. The best thing about Dangerously In Love is its magnificent ability to show the R&B spectrum while pushing further the fusion between R&B and other genre. The album includes a lot of more traditional tracks like the grammy-winning duet with Luther Vandross "The Closer I Get To You" and the disco classic "Naughty Girl". Contemporary R&B is also present on this masterpiece with excellent ballads like "Me Myself & I" and "Be With You". Others highlights include the title track which is easliy the most moving love ballad Beyoncé has ever sung and the making-love rock-y "Speechless". My favorite song and the most playful one is "Signs". Some songs could have been better but are still very enjoyable if you are an R&B sucker: Hip Hop Star, That's How I Like It, Gift From Virgo, Yes.

    Dangerously In Love etablished Beyoncé as the most important R&B act of the 21st Century and the Queen Of Contemporary R&B. Her next album B'Day will prove to be her signature record because of its unique sound and consistently the fan-favorite album. Ao sermos introduzidos às canções, somos afogados por um maremoto de hits. ¨Crazy in love¨, ¨Naughty girl¨ e ¨Baby boy¨, as três primeiras faixas certamente são o ápice da obra, proporcionando o entretenimento mais do que suficiente para que possamos continuar o nosso longo trajeto até o final do disco. Mas – é claro sempre há algumas pedras no caminho. Músicas como ¨Speechless¨ e ¨Gift from Virgo¨, nos fazem cair na monotonia, enquanto outras simplesmente se tornam esquecíveis, e é aí que nos questionamos se veremos aquela energia cintilante que estava presente no início do albúm novamente. Para a infelicidade de todos, somente as oito primeiras faixas transmitem o que há de melhor no CD. Realmente nem tudo são flores, mas antes de finalizarmos a obra, ¨ ’03 Bonnie & Clyde¨ se mostra um dos poucos motivos de a contemplarmos até o final.     Estou dando nota 10 em todos os álbuns da Beyoncé porque ela merece. Com certeza, esse álbum debutante marcou a carreira. Não preciso citar os hinos, mas vou citá-los: Crazy in Love, Baby Boy, Naughty Girl. Eu amo você, Beyoncé.

    It is a warm and nice beginning for Beyoncé's career. It is definitely an introductory album with some catchy songs to make it remarkable. Dangerously In Love is a still hiding album.

    Debut album and she has one timeless song as "Crazy In Love" which is realy legendary. Despite of this she also has other hits like "Naughty Girl", "Baby Boy", "Me, Myself and I" which are great.
    Other songs are good, you can feel soul and r&b vibes that makes you feel good. "Speechless" and "Yes" just melts away me. Good job B.

    Her most underrated album and it's my third favorite! It might be boring for some people who don't like R&B ballads but I really loved the album. My favorite is Speechless.

THIS album spawned classics like Crazy and Dangerously in Love, Baby boy and Naughty Girl and Me Myself and I, it was an insight into a 21/22 year old beyoncé’s view on love from a youthful almost naiveAn R&B classic, Beyoncé was making her mark here and showing us what she was made of, showing us that she was an album artist from the very start as well as someone with amazing singles. THIS album spawned classics like Crazy and Dangerously in Love, Baby boy and Naughty Girl and Me Myself and I, it was an insight into a 21/22 year old beyoncé’s view on love from a youthful almost naive sense as seen in her lyrics in songs like DIL and Gift from a virgo. The lyrics are mature and exciting, the production blends well with her light nasally tone and the flow and pacing from song to song work best in some areas more than others with it starting off vibrant and funky with “Crazy In Love” to it turning a bit more calm in “Be With You” and “Me, myself and I” then it kind of flip-flopping in the last 1/4 of the album. The best and strongest tracks are the 4 singles released as well as the the tracks “yes” “be with you” “the closer i get you” with the late Luther Vandross and the best song on the album “speechless” 6 minutes of pure passion and sexual tension. The More Weaker songs are “daddy” inspired by her father Matthew Knowles “Gift from a Virgo” which has a very fairy tale aura around it and the fun song “signs” featuring Missy Elliot, these songs aren’t bad by any means they just don’t stand as tall and strong as their peers on the album. This album as a unit is one of the best debut albums with most tracks feeling so we’re thought out and demanding, this is a glimpse into what beyoncé would become as we know her to be in 2023.… Expand
