Absolutely amazing. I can't get enough of this album, and this is coming from a harsh music critic. I made a metecritic account just to give this album a 10.

Half Moon Run's Debut album is a powerful entrance to a saturated Montreal indie-rock scene. Driven by smart, sexy and powerful lyrics that dive in the realms of drug abuse, adultery and death, this Canadian band has big things ahead of them.

At times, there's tantalising echoes of Radiohead at their most accessible alongside more soulful diversions. [Sep 2013, p.104]

Not quite enough to give Win Butler the vapours, but not far off it. [Sep 2013, p.90]

While on indie-rockier tracks like Judgement it can be offputtingly bloodless, their sound is more often beautiful and atmospheric.
