I can't stop screaming these words over again. Until breath escapes and my chest caves in. It doesn't matter where I've been. Can't give in, and shut... See the rest of the song lyrics

  1. With this record, the band not only rose up to the bar set by their contemporaries, they raised it to a new level-- which is a good thing, because if this record is the new standard for the metalcore genre, then the future is looking incredibly bright.

Dear Youth does an awfully nice job of explaining why the Ghost Inside elicit such devotion. There's no posturing here, just peers trying to work things out the only way they know how: through unmitigated volume.

Topping 2012’s ‘Get What You Give’ wasn’t going to be easy, but The Ghost Inside have kept up the momentum at the very least.

Dear Youth is a one-size-fits-all hardcore album, one that will lead many fresh faces through the door but leave returners looking for more.

Once they made themselves known, there was no stopping or backing down of any kind. Getting through all of their past albums, the one that stands out the most, is Dear Youth. I found the band themselves through this album & it’s an absolute staple in my book. There are many highlights throughout this album, but there truly isn’t any of those that beats out the buildup & extremely heavy drop of “Mercy”. The song itself is an anthem & a powerhouse of metal material. This is an album I will always return to and check out at any time in the future. I give this album and they rest of their catalog, a huge recommendation to check out! I can’t wait for their new album coming out soon this year! Expand
