An amazing record. The first half alone makes it better than PLDM (which was also fantastic) and the last song is the only weak one.

More of a great thing! If you liked their first disc you will love this one. Nearly over the top, this music skewers more pretentious rock n' roll and has fun doing it.

Hughes and Homme spend more time producing as compared to Peace Love Death Metal, and the results lead to a more wider audience appreciation. Death By Sexy isn't as diverse as the first album, but it's just as good, and more likely to catapult the band to stardom. Long live the Eagles of Death Metal!

I can't believe the negative reviews surrounding this album... Death by Sexy is not only brilliant, catchy, and fun, but it's one of a kind. So many critics complain about the lack of originality in music today, i can't understand why there isn't universal acclaim surrounding this album; it's easily one of the most original and outstanding albums to come out this year.

Not nearly as fun as their debut album "Peace, Love, & Death Metal", but "Death By Sexy" is still a fun listen. Most tracks are great and some tracks feel unnecessary. Either way, it's hard to not fall into the groove of it. All In All, Death By Sexy is a worthy sophomore album that will make you wanna shake your hips.

Lynyrd Skynyrd/ZZ Top-esque rock and roll to it's core. Fast, fun and unapologetic throughout. With choruses so catchy, you'll find it changeling to get them out of your head.

  1. If you come to rock music for pure release, to celebrate the body, to forget your day job, Death By Sexy is just what you’re looking for.

Innuendo set to power chords is only supposed to be funny once... but this impressively stupid side-project follow-up... has enough new sex puns and recycled Stones hooks to defy the odds. [14 Apr 2006, p.87]
  3. Its gloriously, thoroughly trashy fun makes it a guilt-free fling.
