    Listeners might tire of its mechanical edge, but luckily Daft Punk folds in a few more layers. Whether the listener believes it or not, Discovery postulates that club music can possess depth of sound and be more than a never-ending beat that simply marshals your body along with it. Thus, the songs are shorter, more eclectic and rife with hills and valleys of beat that urge you to stop and listen.

The album isn't so much fun as it is silly, and while Daft Punk's members may just be musical smart-alecks, funk hasn't sounded this resoundingly stupid since Bootsy Collins' squiggly solo work.

I wasn't the least-bit disappointed when I purchased and listened to the entire CD. I loved it! It surprised me when I saw the video and realized the character designs were done by Leiji Matsumoto. I'm a huge fan of Anime, and immediately recognized Matsumoto's work when I saw "One More Time". I kinda wish more artist's would have Anime music videos! It would be awesome if there was a music video using the character designs from Sailor Moon! *blushes*… Expand

    "Aerodynamic" feels like it was made for interstella: 5555 one of more forgettable songs of the album
    "Digital Love" Is just an amazing piece of art one of my favorite daft punk songs ever. it's the first song on the album to use daft punk's famous vocoder. The lyrics are tremendously catchy
    "Harder Faster Better Stronger" it's Harder Faster Better Stronger need i say more?
    "Crescendolls" actually sounds like a house track instead of 80s pop music
    "Night Vision" is just filler yet it is very intriguing and is something I'd sleep to
