http://bit.ly/1qqUhPV Never has an album in recent memory blown me away with it's uniqueness, songs, and instrumentation as much as Do To The Beast did. Greg Dulli and the gang are back with their third masterpiece. This album matches the quality of 1965 and Gentleman easily, but then it does so much more. I can definitely say that this is best Afghan Whigs album and best album of 2014 so far.

Yes, they still have a few kinks that need to be worked out--for instance, they need to address the game of musical chairs at lead guitarist--but a whole, The Afghan Whigs look just as unstoppable as they did in their prime.

It's been as long time, but Do To The Beast finds The Afghan Whigs doing what they do, ahem, beast. [19 Apr 2014, p.54]

Ultimately Do to the Beast lacks that gritty, seedy bite that defined The Afghan Whigs' greatest moments.
