Oct 30, 2021It's something interesting to listen to, but not memorable, the production in here seems to be lost in contrast with Faith's vocals; lyrically, its a whole circus and that is not bad, but from the beginning you already know what is it about, like... You came here for fun and nothing else, we need more emotional pieces to the puzzle.

Aug 28, 2018Although the album is on the heals of Amy Winehouse's re-popularized movement of jazz-infused pop, Faith's first album is a dreamy delight, featuring beautiful lyrics and vocals. Download: Play On, Stone Cold Sober, New York.

May 31, 2018The ambiguity of this albums causes for it to have such a low rating. Songs like Upside Down and New York are amazing but then again the album is riddled with fillers.

Jul 25, 2017Cuando escuché DO YOU WANT THE TRUTH OR SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL? (álbum completo), sabia que no había marcha atrás, estaba delante de una obra de arte... canciones como #NewYork, te inspira al romanticismo, canciones como #UpsideDown a la alegría.. es por ello que otorgo un "10". Buen trabajo Paloma.

Aug 29, 2012Ok, this album is not a masterpiece, but there are some very good songs in it: "Stargazer", "Upside Down", "Play On" and "New York" for example. She also has talent and a beautiful voice, so i don't get why it has just a 51!

The overall mood of the album feels a bit broken and battered, but comes off too polished to let that feeling drive home.
-
This time the Mickie Most-omatic (phasers set to Winehouse) has dredged up someone so inauthentic she makes Duffy look like Johnny Cash.
-
Faith takes every single ounce of her experiences and infuses them into her music. It results in one hell of a theatrical roller-coaster ride that holds attention from beginning to end.
