  1. As far as 2008 sleepers go, this album’s near the top of the pile. Don’t Be A Stranger is good advice, indeed.
  2. So while Don’t Be a Stranger may run on a bit too long, that’s hardly something to complain about. In fact, that is exactly the point of the record, of the beautiful sounds the Moondoggies are making.
  3. Enjoying the Moondoggies, though, hinges on being able to accept a couple of Seattleites in their early 20s digging so earnestly into the '70s.
