Too many of the riffs sound flimsy and thin when they should suckerpunch out of the speakers. [Oct 2013, p.100]

Drenge brothers Rory and Eoin Loveless exhibit virtually no overt blues influences, relying instead on the heavily distorted guitar riffs common to grunge and garage-band psychedelia.

fantastic debut, the name "drenge" fits perfectly with the murky, dirty, thick riffs that drive the songs. There is a clear Nirvana influencefantastic debut, the name "drenge" fits perfectly with the murky, dirty, thick riffs that drive the songs.
