Once the annoying vocoder-rock of 'Tombstone' kicks in, you remember that alll dystopias start out with the best intentions. [June 2008, p.114]
  2. There is a fair amount of Bowie-esque schmaltz in Vincenzi Vendetta’s vocals, which make Dystopia a little harder to swallow than its instantly catchy cousin, Cut Copy’s "In Ghost Colours."

Dystopia leaves you wanting more. [Summer 2008, p.94]
  4. The kicker is that, without their live/electronic shtick to distinguish them, Midnight Juggernauts don't seem to be anything other than gifted mimics.
  5. It’s not all bad--the production’s tight and technically impressive, and the sonic landscape of the album full and enveloping. But when played through multiple times, Dystopia isn’t really exciting.
