  1. The band is now more of a collaborative project than a Jon Auer-and-Ken Stringfellow-with-hired-guns proposition, and it shows in the eloquence of the songs here.
  2. A red letter day for fans of classic songwriting. [Aug 2005, p.132]
  3. It's all as comfortable as a favourite battered chair, but give it a chance and you'll discover a gem of a record. [2 Jul 2005, p.64]
  4. Has only a slightly spottier ratio of hits to misses than their best albums.
  5. Rote arrangements keep the CD from being seen in a flattering Light. [24 Jun 2005, p.165]
  6. This disarming variety may leave you wishing they had made three different reunion albums rather than one. [#10, p.113]

Never quite rises above the mundane. [Aug 2005, p.98]
