    This is a great album. It shows an evolution in Tobin's sound, and it gets me even more excited for his future works. I've never had a problem with any of the material he has put out; he keeps getting better with each release.

    I don't even like electronica. I hate it. It's the most god-forsaken, melody-free p.o.s. music category out there. I'd rather listen to, I don't know, revivalist bluegrass. But Amon Tobin? Amon Tobin does not fall into genres. This guy is... I don't even know, he's just amazing. If you've ever liked any of his stuff, you ought to like this album. Somehow I don't even like electronica. I hate it. It's the most god-forsaken, melody-free p.o.s. music category out there. I'd rather listen to, I don't know, revivalist bluegrass. But Amon Tobin? Amon Tobin does not fall into genres. This guy is... I don't even know, he's just amazing. If you've ever liked any of his stuff, you ought to like this album. Somehow he manages to always sound the same but never really get boring or repetitive. (Conversely, if you hate his stuff, this won't convince you... but listen to his old tracks 'Nova' or 'Easy Muffin' and maybe you'll be converted.)… Expand

    One of the best electronic albums in many years. He is virtuoso. Fantastic melodies and the he shows us his rythmic understanding. His choise of sounds is fantastic. And the album is so well prodused.

    Absolutely awesome, i own all his albums, and was very excited with the release of this. Has the huge openers 'BLoodstone' and 'Esther's' heard prior on the Bloodstone single, amazing sample based warped and composed. You'll either like the guy or not, having serious troubles with some of my friends covincing them past some of the complex stuff, to actually have a proper listen, sit down and listen a few times, to understand and enjoy wahts going on! 10/10… Expand

    I saw this guy at an outdoor festival last summer and it was an ear-opening experience. At first you feel like you're being overwhelmed by some Phil Spectorish Wall of Sound from Hell, and you pray it would just stop. After a while Tobin's masterful control of sound begins to inculcate itself into your synapses. You soon find yourself involuntarily moving to the sound which I saw this guy at an outdoor festival last summer and it was an ear-opening experience. After a while Tobin's masterful control of sound begins to inculcate itself into your synapses. You soon find yourself involuntarily moving to the sound which seems to be emanating from Heaven itself. When it's done you're both physically and emotionally spent. And wanting for more. The guy is a sheer genius at manipulating sound and this offering continues in that tradition. Too bad the sheep can't get an earful of this on their way to slaughter. It might just alter their path of musical self-destruction.… Expand

    Nice to hear from Tobin again. The slower sounding songs take some getting used to, but overall it's great to hear him experimenting and not repeating himself. Not his best, but certainly interesting and know more interested in hearing his next and where he will go ...
