  1. Her deep, warm voice now has a scratchy, evocative edge that suggests maturity and the high price that often comes with it.
  2. Brandy gets an A+ for effort, even if Full Moon falls slightly short of that grade.
  3. Mixer

A work that displays more forward-thinking musical maturity than any diva in her league. May 2002, p.72]
  4. A fairly paint-by-numbers affair.
  5. Full Moon is perched perfectly between the interesting and the mundane and is in equal parts either.
  6. Uncut

After a sequence of fierce, squelching avant-R&B, Jerkins makes his excuses and leaves Brandy with some old hacks and their dispiriting, saccharine ballads. [May 2002, p.89]
  7. 60
A throbbing pop record of schizophrenic highs and lows as hyper-kinetic as its beats.
  8. Frantic, faceless, fake-sexy R&B.
  9. Q Magazine
    40
A very slick example of production-line soul. [Apr 2002, p.110]
  10. Brandy is on fine form throughout, purring pillow talk and murmuring sweet nothings to anyone insane enough to listen. Now she loves him, now she doesn't. Really, it's too much.

It is now 2022 and I still can listen to this album without skipping a single track. It was rare in 2002 and especially rare now a days. Wish Brandy would’ve gotten her full flowers for this album when it came out but it seems like it’s a sleepy masterpiece kinda. The vocals, the background vocals, the way she stacks and layers them…..whew! My favorites on here are (4, 6, 12, 13 and 16). A must listen. Full Review »
